About Skye

I hold a bachelor's degree in music and have spent the past five years working as a dedicated singing tutor. My journey with music began early in life, and over time, it evolved into a strong passion for teaching and helping others explore their vocal potential. I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, guiding beginners just finding their voice as well as more advanced singers aiming to refine their technique. My teaching approach is rooted in patience, encouragement, and a deep understanding of vocal development. I focus not just on technical accuracy but also on helping each student build the confidence needed to express themselves authentically through song. My training in various styles, from classical to contemporary, allows me to adapt lessons to meet each student’s personal musical interests and goals. I believe that a strong vocal foundation starts with proper breathing, control, and ear training, and I ensure these elements are included in every lesson. Just as importantly, I place value on the emotional connection to music—helping students find meaning and presence in every piece they perform. I guide students not only in how to sing but also in how to communicate feeling and story through their voice. What I enjoy most about teaching is witnessing a student’s transformation—when technique, emotion, and confidence come together. I’m passionate about creating a supportive space where students feel safe to grow, take creative risks, and discover their own unique sound. Helping others reach their vocal goals continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my musical career.

About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed to help students discover, strengthen, and enjoy their unique voice. With 5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in music, I tailor each session to suit the student’s vocal range, experience level, and personal goals—whether you're just starting out or preparing for performances or auditions.

Each lesson begins with vocal warm-ups and breath control exercises, essential for developing vocal stamina and maintaining vocal health. From there, we focus on techniques such as pitch accuracy, tone quality, diction, and emotional expression. I use a variety of genres—classical, contemporary, or musical theatre—based on the student's interests and comfort zone.

Beyond technical development, I aim to instill confidence and stage presence in my students. We work on performance skills, including posture, expression, and microphone techniques, to ensure that you feel as good performing as you sound. Lessons are supportive and paced for consistent, measurable progress.

I believe singing should be both disciplined and joyful. My lessons create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their voices, challenge their limits, and celebrate their growth. Whether you're pursuing singing professionally or simply for personal enrichment, I’ll help you find your voice and use it proudly.
