About Volodymyr
I am a very friendly and professional mathematics tutor who has obtained A+ average at University of Guelph Bachelor of Science Mathematics Major program. My skills include teaching high school and first-year university mathematics with my main goal being imparting greater mathematical understanding to my students than they had before my classes. I always periodically ask students questions on whether they actually understand how the problem is being solved and all the steps and logic behind them that are involved in the solution. Many of my students thus see significant improvement in their grades and those who don't can at least say that they have tried and were able to obtain some mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

I teach high school and first year university mathematics for students in Guelph, ON and remotely if you happen to be outside of Guelph. Lessons can be as long or as short as you like but like with any skill time and dedication is key to mastery. My lessons typically go through the more challenging questions or problems students can't readily solve on their own. Then after making sure students have done their due diligence I explain steps/methodology and logic behind tackling the problem(s). After this I leave homework for the student based on the relevant material. Then I repeat the process for as many/few sessions as necessary. I charge $20-25 per hour to provide affordable classes and beat the competitors but this rate is in no way an indication of my knowledge level as I have received A+ average throughout all my years of university studies as an Undergrad at University of Guelph.
