About Shu-ting
Bring your creativity to life by sharpening your observation skills and exploring the world through outdoor sketching (plein air). Hi, I’m Sam, a Melbourne-based artist and Fine Arts graduate with years of hands-on experience in both artmaking and teaching. I specialize in drawing, oil painting, outdoor sketching, and art theory, and I love helping students unlock their creative potential — no matter their age or skill level. With a background in studio teaching and a personal art practice rooted in observation and expression, I offer lessons that are supportive, flexible, and tailored to each learner. Whether you’re just starting your art journey or want to strengthen your portfolio, I’ll guide you step by step. I teach in English and Mandarin, and welcome children (7+), teens, adults, and seniors. Classes are available in-person in Melbourne or online from anywhere. Lessons are suitable for all ages — from children (7+) to adults and seniors. You can join classes online or in-person in Melbourne.
