About Qasim
Hi! my name is Qasim. I'm a final-year PhD student with a deep love for chemistry and the way it shapes the world around us. As a researcher developing new materials and methods, I bring a fresh, real-world perspective to my teaching. I’m passionate about making chemistry (and maths!) more engaging, accessible, and even enjoyable for students—showing them that it’s not just about memorising facts, but about understanding how things truly work. My goal is to help students not only achieve top grades but also build genuine confidence and appreciation for the subject. With the insight and strategies that helped me become an A* student myself, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I believe that the best way to truly understand a subject is to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. In my sessions, I focus on clear explanations followed by practical application—working through problem sets and questions together to reinforce understanding and build confidence. Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, and I make sure to use that time efficiently by balancing explanation with guided practice. I’ve been tutoring privately for over 2 years, working with both GCSE and A-Level students (or equivalent), and I tailor my sessions to suit each student’s individual pace and learning style. Whether you're looking to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or just gain a better grasp of your subject, my lessons are designed to support you every step of the way.
