About Heather
I am currently a second-year medical student that is passionate about learning and teaching as a whole. I knew from a young age that I didn't learn things the same way as most people around me did, and it forced me to adapt my learning style to be successful. Because of this, I am passionate about ensuring that every student I teach will be able to develop a learning style that they are comfortable with.

I take a really personalized approach to teaching my students. Everyone learns differently, and it is extremely important to me that I am able to teach things in a way that you as an individual will understand. I also use the teach-back method with most of my students to ensure that you are not just passively learning the information, but that you are able to actively recall the lesson plan. I am open to teaching a wide variety of students from different levels of education, from middle school to college level courses.
