About Pedro
I've been teaching since I was 18, 21 years ago. I gave classes to large classes, small groups and individual classes. My focus was, and is, the initiation to the instrument, be it to children and adolescents, adults or seniors. Some younger students follow the music and do concerts and more studies. For other older students, for example, it's a hobby. For children and teenagers, it is usually the first instrument they play and the first direct contact with music.

My method of teaching is modern because the technical and physical works of the instruments are done in union with the melody and the musicality; it is a dynamic teaching because we work technique, sometimes a little theory, still others learn music, structures and forms, and other times we do creative work of study, with improvisation and free discovery of the instrument. It is a concrete teaching because scales and rudiments are studied and applied musically, and it is an individualized teaching because the songs that are studied and the exercises that are done are always chosen together, hence the evolution is always adapted to the student - faster in some disciplines, slower in others.
