About Ramanjit
Hello, my name is Ramanjit, and I offer tailored maths tutoring for primary school pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I’m currently training to become a qualified teacher and have hands-on experience supporting children in classroom and 1:1 settings. My approach is friendly, structured, and adaptable to each child's learning style. I focus on building confidence, fluency, and a solid understanding of mathematical concepts using methods aligned with the national curriculum. Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for SATs, or simply boosting their number skills, I’m here to support them every step of the way. Lessons are typically 45 to 60 minutes, and I ensure each session is engaging, encouraging, and paced to suit the learner. I’m training to be a teacher and have experience working with primary-age children, particularly in maths. I’m confident in teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 maths and have supported pupils with SATs preparation and 11+ exams. My tutoring is child-centred, meaning I adapt every session to suit the individual learning style, pace, and confidence level of the pupil. I use a mix of: Concrete resources (like number blocks or visual aids) Pictorial methods (diagrams and drawings) Step-by-step problem solving My lessons last around 60 minutes. Shorter lessons can be arranged for younger learners.
