About Leia

With over eight years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus in Voice, I’ve worked extensively with choirs, ensembles, and solo singers. My passion lies in nurturing voices within both group and individual settings. I specialise in Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop styles, and I love helping singers find their unique blend in harmony and ensemble work. I’ve led vocal ensembles, prepared students for school and college choir performances, and supported community singing groups in building confidence and cohesion. My lessons focus on sight singing, solfege, part-singing, choral blend, and rehearsal techniques. I emphasise good vocal health, balanced tone, and expressive singing. Whether you're learning to harmonise or refining your solo part, I offer a supportive, structured environment to grow. Let’s discover the joy of singing together where every voice matters and every step is celebrated.

About the lesson

My approach to singing centres around vocal wellness, mindful practice, and expressive growth. Each lesson includes breathwork, warm-ups, and exercises that support healthy vocal placement. I guide singers in building range, pitch accuracy, and tone while promoting long-term vocal care. Hydration, posture, and emotional connection to the music are all part of the process. I support singers who are developing their solo voice or growing as part of a group. Lessons are calm, encouraging, and paced to support real progress without strain. We use vocal tracking apps to observe development, breathwork tools to build control, and mindfulness practices to reduce tension. Whether you sing in a church ensemble or are finding your voice as a soloist, I help you stay grounded while growing in skill. Singing should feel joyful, expressive, and sustainable and that’s the heart of every lesson I teach.
