About Olivia
I am studying finance at Dominican University I also went to Glenbard West High School. I have always been passionate about numbers, which is why I chose to pursue a degree in finance. Throughout my time at Glenbard West High School, I developed a strong foundation in mathematics, further fueling my interest in this field. I currently work at a tax office where I have the opportunity to apply my knowledge of finance and numbers in a practical setting. Not to mention I have also graduated from Polish School. I base everything off of class notes however I focus on the topics which students are struggling with more. I incorporate practice problems and visual aids to reinforce understanding and promote a deeper grasp of mathematical concepts. I encourage students to ask questions as this fosters a deeper understanding of the material. I also believe in providing real-world examples of mathematical concepts to make them more relatable and engaging for the student I am tutoring.
