About Delaney
I'm Delaney, a second-year psychology student at University College Dublin. I grew up in the United States and have only moved to Dublin a year ago, but I love the city and am so happy to be here! I want to teach because I've had teachers who impacted my life not only by their lessons but by their kindness. I struggled socially in school a lot, and they were there as supports. I hope to be able to be that support for others, in the same way I am studying to become a therapist for the same reason. I can't wait to get to know you all and help out where I can! :)

As a tutor, I like to focus on the students' issues and confusions first and foremost, and try to apply vague concepts to concrete tangible things that are easier for the mind to comprehend. Math can be very theoretical which is where most of my struggle with it myself came from, so I found applying it to the real world brought a lot more clarity. I am happy to teach both Primary or Secondary school students and assist them with any upcoming assignments, tests, or homework. The maximum lesson time is one hour.
