About Cara
I’m a dedicated math tutor with 4 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science. My focus is on middle school algebra, where I guide students through linear equations, polynomials, and functions. These topics often act as roadblocks for learners. I simplify them through clear, step-by-step teaching. Puzzles and games make problem-solving fun and interactive. Real-world connections help students see the purpose behind algebra. I’ve worked with many learning styles, tailoring lessons to individual needs. Supporting students with math anxiety is one of my strengths. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are welcomed. Building confidence is just as important as mastering skills. My sessions are interactive, patient, and structured. Over time, students develop both competence and self-belief. Algebra becomes not only manageable but also enjoyable.

I believe Maths should feel connected to the way we think digitally. My lessons focus on coding logic, algorithm design, and computational reasoning. Discrete mathematics and algebra are explained through programming analogies. Students learn to solve problems in logical steps, like a coder would. I work closely with Architects and Proof Seekers. I help them share their solutions with comfort and clarity. Puzzles and coding challenges make lessons engaging. My approach is calm, structured, and student-focused. I simplify each topic into easy steps. Mistakes are part of progress, not failures. Confidence grows with every success. Students see maths as practical and useful. Together, we bring maths into the digital world with confidence.
