About Elie

Hi, I'm Elie, a dedicated tutor and a 5th year mechanical engineering student at one of Lebanon’s most demanding universities.

From the start, I’ve been drawn to understanding how things work, not just machines, but the logic behind equations, the laws of motion, and the systems that govern both theory and real life. That mindset helped me consistently maintain a 95% (ranking 2/50) average in challenging technical courses like calculus, thermodynamics, dynamics, and statics.

But what truly shaped me as a tutor is my approach to teaching. Over more than four years, I have worked with over 25 students, both school and university level, and behind every successful session, there’s careful preparation, deep research into each concept, and a personalized plan to match the student’s course, schedule, and learning style. I don’t just explain material. I structure it, map it out, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

I teach in English or French, and I’m fluent in Arabic, which allows me to adapt easily to different educational systems and connect with students from diverse backgrounds, whether they’re in local programs or international ones.

About the lesson

Whether you're in school or university, the lessons I offer are built around clarity, structure, and real understanding. I tutor in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for primary and secondary school students, as well as core engineering subjects for university students — all in English or French, depending on your curriculum.

Each session is customized based on your current level, your course materials, and your goals. I don’t believe in generic lessons, I take time before each session to study your course content in detail, ensuring that what we cover aligns exactly with what you’re being taught. This allows us to address your weak points, stay ahead of your deadlines, and build a strong plan that fits your schedule.

We’ll focus on why things work, not just how, so you’re not memorizing formulas, but truly understanding the concepts behind them. I use examples, visual aids, step-by-step problem solving, and active questioning to keep you engaged and progressing with confidence.

Most importantly, you won’t be left guessing. Every lesson is planned so that nothing is missed and you’re always clear on what to work on next.
