About Joseph
I am a software engineer with a passion for mathematics and programming! I graduated with a bachelor's in mathematics in 2021 and have actively continued my math learning since then, moving into more advanced topics and keeping my skills fresh. I love to show my students the real-world applications of what they are learning in areas like AI, machine learning, and physics. Outside of math I can teach my students the technical skills I've used throughout my career as a software engineer in the private sector. I look forward to speaking with you!

I like to relate mathematics to practical real-world applications, so students can see there is a purpose to what they are learning. I have a passion for math that shines through in my teaching. From simple arithmetic to advanced topics like real analysis and combinatorics there is so much beauty and wonder in the field that I wish to share with my students. I am open to teaching any grade level, but focus mostly on the following subjects: Algebra I Algebra II Precalculus Calculus I Calculus II Calculus III Differential equations Statistics In addition to teaching Math, I am also interested in sharing my knowledge of programming and web development. I have been a software engineer in a professional setting for over 4 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in in-demand technical skills. The subjects I can teach in this area are: Programming (Java, JavaScript, or Python) Web Development Cloud Computing Software Design Patterns
