About Julia

Hi, I'm Julia. I am pursuing my Master's in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, before proceeding on to my Ph.D. at Stanford University in Physics, with Ph.D. minors in CS & Statistics. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2024, with an HBSc in Physics and Mathematics, and a minor in Statistics. My graduating average was 97.6%, with a cGPA of 4.00/4.00; I was thus awarded a scholarship designating me the top female student in science. I have extensive tutoring experience of 7 years, with an excellent retention rate, and can tutor elementary to university students to the third-year. I have been twice a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto and OCAD University for Calculus and Astronomy.

About the lesson

As I am abroad, I will be tutoring remotely! Subjects include, but are not limited to:
- Mathematics: ODEs, Single-Variable and Multi-Variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Logic and Sets, Proofs.
- Statistics: Introductory Statistics & Probability.
- Physics: Introductory Physics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Information and Computation.

During a lesson, I can either explain concepts to you in a clearer manner, go over exercises you're struggling with, and assign to you additional questions if you need it.
