Why do some students struggle with secondary school history?

History is full of content, you have to learn about the context of subjects, dates, important figures, developments in technology and the chronological order of things! It can be a lot to handle for any secondary school student. It can also be a lot more than just learning about all those things too, sometimes we are asked to analyse why things happened a certain way, or sometimes history borders on philosophy with the way questions can be asked. These two short examples really highlight the historical richness of the city.
