About Amy
My degree is in Film and Television studies from the University of Northumbria and I have since worked in various creative roles. I focused on European and American Horror, Nordic Noir, LGBT and gender representations in film, particularly violent women.

I like to approach each topic with a discussion around how you interpreted the piece of work, before looking at historical/social and cultural influential factors. Also looking at the directors body of work, other similar films within the theme and areas that they may have drawn inspiration from.
