About Isla
I am a chatty and friendly 23-year-old in my final year of university. Having cultivated my interests in psychology and mental health over recent years, I developed a passion for supporting and uplifting others. Education can be a core component to achieving this.
I have always enjoyed my academic pursuits and believe it can be a fun experience in the right learning environment. Not everyone is on a level playing field when it comes to learning, and education needs to be tailored to the individual. In this way, I believe that tutoring can help give the extra support we sometimes need.

- My lessons will be friendly and relaxed with a focus on improving essay writing skills and how to most effectively answer exam-style questions, a key component to succeeding in school studies.
- Additionally, my advanced psychology qualifications, mean I have a high level of knowledge concerning effective learning and communication techniques, which I can incorporate into my lessons making them easy to engage with.
- Lesson length can be tailored to the individual but usually last between 45 minutes and an hour to ensure full comprehension of the materials for students.
