About Josie

Hi, my name is Josie. I love being a tutor as I look back on my school days and really appreciate the amazing support I received from teachers, peers, and tutors. I want to do the same for others. I really value a balanced education, embracing a person's passions and goals all while making sure you are engaged with your education!

About the lesson

As a tutor I always ensure I make each session tailored to my students, first sessions involve getting to know the student, then as we continue I utilise personal resources to keep students engaged: these might include, videos, songs, powerpoints, mind maps etc. Each of these tailored lessons allow me to help a student retain as much knowledge as possible. All for a goal to
nurture a love for learning.
