About Nicholas

Hey, my name is Nick Meckel and I recently graduated Wesley College, duxing Spanish Ab Initio. I have always had a passion for languages, and due to living in South America, I adopted an extreme ear for Spanish. I understand completely what it's like learning Spanish from scratch, and therefore can teach you on how to best navigate through the intricacies of the language. I will make Spanish easy for you, and allow for the subject to become a strength, not a weakness. I am extremely friendly and a recent student myself, meaning I understand the schooling system as of recent and have modern ways of teaching that allow for the best possible outcome and success.

About the lesson

Spanish can be challenging, but with over 100 hours of tutoring experience and a year of teaching under my belt, I’m here to help you reach your goals with confidence. My approach is friendly, open, and grounded in real experience from living in a Spanish-speaking country. We’ll use your past work and tests as practical tools for improvement, and I’ll bring strategies I’ve developed as a high-scoring IB student to help Years 10–12 excel. Lessons are tailored to your needs and typically run from 1 to 2 hours.

I have copious experience handling grammar, tenses, internal orals, and general content.
