About Wanda
Hands find their natural resting point on the keys when a student finally understands the necessity of proper posture and deliberate hand position. Having earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon, I view piano coaching as a vital extension of musical literacy and performance intelligence. My 13 years of experience inform the way I break down complex concepts like hand independence and sight transposition into manageable steps. Students often come to me to refine their command over classical repertoire or to explore the nuances of pop and contemporary piano styles.
I integrate ear training and rhythmic precision into our work to build a well-rounded musician who can handle any score. Helping a student achieve their specific goals keeps me motivated to continue teaching every single day.
