About Adam
Hi, I'm Adam, a third-year Dental student at the University of Sheffield, currently achieving Honours.
At school, I achieved grade 9s in Triple Science alongside A*s in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. During that time, I put a lot of effort into finding effective ways to digest and retain content, and learnt first-hand how to apply it under exam conditions. Through my own experience of where marks can be lost, I developed a real understanding of what examiners are looking for — and a passion for helping others navigate the same challenges with clarity and confidence.
Many of the concepts I studied at A-Level continue to appear in my university course, where I am already treating patients directly. This has strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and with empathy — skills I bring into every tutoring session.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy DJing, going to the gym, and socialising — so I know how to make sessions feel relaxed and engaging rather than intimidating!

I specialise in GCSE sciences (Combined, and Triple) and A-level biology tutoring, tailoring each session to the individual student's needs. My approach combines spoken teaching, worked examples, engaging tasks, and exam-style practice. My style can be adapted dependent on whether a student needs help building confidence, closing knowledge gaps, or pushing for top grades.
I achieved 9s in science at GCSE and A* at A-Level, where I found efficient methods of learning the content and applying this to exam-style practice.
Lessons would be targeted for anyone in years 10-11, and 12-13; and typically last 60 minutes.

I have known Adam since year 7 (we're both now in third year of uni). He has always been very organised when it comes to his academics and has always done well for as long as I've known him.
