About Scarlett
Hi, I'm Scarlett!
I'm 20 years old and I study French and German at the University of Cambridge and am just about to leave for my year abroad in Paris! I'm passionate about teaching languages, history and english to help foster a love for the humanities.
I tutor students in French, German and English (up to A-Level) and History (up to GCSE)! I benefitted from tutoring whilst at school, so know how valuable that extra bit of help or encouragement can be, especially when it comes to the daunting prospect of official exams and university applications.
I believe a tutor and a student should work together to find the best learning style possible, and I'm here to help you succeed in any way you need!

Sessions are 30mins-1hr (at your discretion). The introductory call offers an opportunity to get to know each other and for me to find out your overall goals.
Different Lesson Types:
- Speaking classes (including grammar and vocabulary)
- Speaking, reading and listening classes (including grammar and vocabulary)
- Exam preparation lessons
- Correcting homework / assignments etc. together
- Translation
Each lesson is tailored to the student's unique needs and learning style. I offer a deep understanding of various exam boards, entrance test requirements, and university application processes.
I have successfully mentored several students through the Oxbridge application process.
I believe I can offer not only academic aid to students who need some extra help and encouragement, but also foster a love for learning that propels students to explore their interests beyond the school curriculum
