About James

I am a third year student at the University of Liverpool. I am soon to begin my dissertation on the “Special Relationship” between the UK Prime Minister and the President of the US, with a focus on how this impacts global politics and economics.

I also specialise in the Russian Revolution and the Roman Empire, but am also competent in a number of other areas.

I have aspirations to be a university professor one day as I truly love my subject & believe I am a very effective communicator and teacher.

About the lesson

I am willing to adapt my lessons and teaching style for each student.

If you struggle with the core content itself, I will take you through a presentation of the information and guide you through some tasks/worksheets to help cement the information in your memory.

If you struggle with essay writing and technique, we can go through how to form a coherent and balanced argument to produce a quality essay. I can explain how to create effective introductions and conclusions, how to tick all the boxes the mark schemes are looking for, as well as the deeper understanding of historiography.

Whatever you or your child’s needs, I will do my absolute best to develop their understanding and improve their grades.
