About
Hello! I'm Mandy Creider, but my students call me Mrs. C. I am a Reading Specialist with 20+ Years of teaching experience in Elementary and Special Needs Education. I am also trained in Orton Gillingham and Structured Reading. I have worked in public education as well as homeschooling. I now offer private tutoring through virtual/online or in-person sessions.
My tutoring business, Literacy Roots, is where struggling readers grow strong roots in Reading and Writing. I provide Specialized Reading Support for K–5 Learners.
I believe every child can become a confident, joyful reader. I provide expert, caring support for students with dyslexia and other reading challenges using proven, science-based methods.
I offer virtual therapeutic reading intervention for K–5 students who need more than just extra practice. Whether your child is struggling with phonics, fluency, comprehension, or dyslexia, I deliver personalized, evidence-based instruction designed to meet their unique needs. Using structured literacy approaches and a nurturing tone, each session helps your child make meaningful progress while building the confidence to thrive in and out of the classroom.

Clear communication with families and ways for continued at home learning support
