About
I'm a dedicated, professional piano instructor, who teaches from my home studio in Monument, Colorado. Since beginning piano at the age of seven and singing in my church choir much earlier, I have performed both instrumentally and vocally for over 50 years.
As a teenager, I performed in both school and church in musicals and in various choirs/groups - often, these groups were exclusive, & members were selected through audition processes for the top 5%, e.g., All-State Chorus & more. In addition, I have accompanied many soloists, choirs and choral groups with piano over the years.
Teaching is my life's most important & rewarding work. Over the years, I've enjoyed teaching almost every age & type of student, including those with Disabilities. I have an affirmative, supportive and creative teaching style. I’m committed to having a good lesson for every student, every week. Have been teaching piano Full-time for over 17 years here in Colorado. Students will learn Much more than the basics & progressively how to figure things out for themselves musically.
