About Colette
I am a 22 year old, 4th year university student. I am eager to help the next generation of learners achieve their best potential and increase their confidence within history. History may seem just like dates and names of kings and queens but it is such an important subject and can actually be very fun if taught right. This is my aim. Through the years I have had good and bad experiences with history teachers. I understand that sometimes the teaching of history can be quite boring but I am here to change that and hopefully make you love the subject as much as I do.

With me becoming a teacher within the next year, I have lots of experience creating lesson plans. I have several different methods in order for my students to not only learn the knowledge taught to them, but retain it also. through trial and error over the years, I know what works with students and what does not. It is so important to be able to adapt lessons to the student's individual needs in order to help them achieve their best potential. My lessons are aimed at students aged between 12-18 particularly of school age however, if a student is older and would like help in the areas mentioned in my bio, I am willing to discuss it further.
