About Mckenzie
I am a former Teacher's Assistant for a fifth grade class. I mainly focused on helping students who struggled with reading, writing, and mathematics. I would help individual students as well as groups, as big as six children. The children I helped went from nearly failing to getting B's and a few with A's. I also helped children with learning disabilities, a child with a second grade reading level to a fourth grade reading level.

My teaching methodology is encouragement, comfortability, patience, and confidence. A lot of the times children are too afraid to admit they don't understand something, so I try to create a safe space to make them comfortable enough to ask questions about what they aren't understanding. There truly is no such thing as a stupid question.
