About Dani
I am currently a 5th grade teacher. I love to teach reading and writing because there are so many places you can go in the subjects. I love listening to students read and to help them breakdown words they may not know. I love to teach vocabulary and sounds to students. Allowing students to creatively write or write for an essay is always fun! It is important to ensure that all elements are in students writing and it is my job to make sure that we hit those points while also making sure we are capitalizing and punctuating our sentences.

I approach reading and writing through examples. I will first exhibit to a student who to use the method I am teaching, ranging from phonics to punctuation, which then I will prompt the student to use the same method in their own reading and writing as I observe and guide them.
