About Katie
My name is Katie and I’m a 16 year old, 5th year student in Santa Sabina, Sutton. I have such a passion for Italy and the beautiful language. When going into 1st year and picking my subjects, I was over the moon to find out my school taught Italian as a language. I was extremely excited to learn a language that not many schools in Dublin offer and a language I knew would help me a lot in the future as my dream was to move to Italy someday! The more I learned the language, the more I loved it! I want to help students find the love for Italian the way I did, and give them confidence with their learning by being a helping hand. Learning a language never has to be a stressful experience and the most important thing is to have fun and enjoy it!

I believe the most important part of learning a language is the foundation. Those little rules that may not seem that important can have the biggest impact on the improvement of learning, and eventually, reaching fluency. I can help with any parts of foundational Italian that you may be struggling in, and I’ll show you all of my tips and tricks I’ve learned throughout my 5 years of studying Italian and my 2 month trip studying abroad in Milan, Italy! I will help primarily 1st and 2nd year students or anyone with beginner Italian/A1 to reach their highest potential in any Italian exams or tests!
