About Sofía
Sofía Bosch is a believer in the brilliance of every student, elevating community voices, and the power of storytelling. Throughout her career, she has searched for creative ways to address equity in and access to high-quality education and opportunities. She began her career as a journalist and community organizer in South Los Angeles. Since then, Sofía has worked in nonprofits, research, project management, startup/consulting, and design-thinking roles.
She has run after-school programs, been a tutor for years, and is a middle school bilingual SPED teacher in Brooklyn. Sofía also has degrees from the University of Southern California and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Sofía grew up in five different countries and is Spanish-Mexican-American. During her free time, you can find her outdoors hiking or surfing, at the gym, cooking with friends, traveling, lost in a good book, or playing the guitar.
