About Josh
I was the first person at my school with turntables, which basically meant two things: everyone suddenly wanted to come to my house, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing — but I loved every second of it.
That kicked off nearly thirty years of producing, DJing, messing with gear, finishing far too many tracks, and accidentally learning all the things they never teach you on YouTube. Somewhere along the way I ended up making music for brands like Nike, Volkswagen and Under Armour, and playing gigs across the UK, Europe and beyond.
So why do I teach?
I’ve made every mistake possible so you don’t have to. Also because nothing beats seeing someone go from “why does this sound terrible?” to “oh my god, I actually MADE this.” My lessons are relaxed, straight to the point, and actually fun.
No ego, no confusing jargon — just real techniques, real experience, and the stuff I wish someone had told me years ago. If you want to learn Ableton or DJing from someone who’s been in the game long enough to know what works (and what definitely doesn’t), I’d love to help you get there.

My Ableton and DJ lessons are designed to guide you from wherever you are now towards a level where real industry opportunities become possible, or just able to make something fun.
Making music and having a mix for me is a form of therapy, I just hope to pass on that joy and sense of achievement from day one.
