About Taj
I'm an academic student studying Psychology. I've been tutoring in english, math, and sciences for 8 years privately for students either in my school or kiddos in elementary school. I've tutored every age from 7-18 years old. I was a teacher's aid from 2012-2015 at Waldo Rohnert Elementary School for one of my old teachers. Once I entered high school, I offered tutoring to my fellow classmates in AP classes and regular. The teachers had me host group sessions for clearer understanding.

I first establish familiarity with my student, something relatable. I have the student do a series of everyday tasks like counting receipt totals, writing a letter to a local business they like, and mixing together some household ingredients to make something. Once I understand how they learn, execute their tasks, and their efficiency. I can then adapt my teaching style to them specifically. Some people are visual learners, others lead by example, some people need to experience real world tactics to understand why we even need the knowledge taught in schools. I'm very patient, and work hard to make sure that the students know what, why, and how to absorb the information I'm teaching them
