ACCA SBR Quizzes - an option of 25 quizzes, 10 marks each for 5 weeks straight

I am genuinely grateful to Liliya for the amount of time she saved me. Thanks to her, I was able to pass the exam while still being a present mum to my children, despite working full time.
I prepared from scratch and was exam-ready within 15 sessions, exactly as promised. Between sessions, I spent around two hours on homework and practice, and I took just two days off work immediately before the exam. I passed.

Was it expensive? Yes.
Was it worth it? Absolutely.
Will the money pay itself back? Without a doubt.

Imagine my schock when I learnt that my HR registered me for APM instead AFM 4 days before exam!

I wrote and basically said I need to learn everything from scratch in less than a week! HELP!

Lilia suggested we do three sessions a day. Mornings she explained how each topic appear on the exam, gave me practice questions, afternoons we checked the homework and studied the next block, and so on.

And I passed that exam! Some of the questions were like the ones we looked together, so it was easy. Some topics were new because we studied since four days, but Lilia taught me how to see things in the scenario so I just guessed and it looks I guessed right.

You never laughed, never got impatient, even when I turned up to tackle SBR with barely any clue about debits and credits (thanks to exemptions and a uni experience that feels like it happened in another lifetime).

Thank you for fitting me in around my endless business trips, for making this exam feel far less daunting than I ever thought it could. Honestly, I was convinced I’d be stuck with it for at least a year. Other tutors I spoke to said I’d need to go back and cover FR first, but with you, I never once felt like an imposter.

I'm a CFO with an MBA but I still had to get ACCA just for the signature. I took classes with Liliya because I needed to get it out of my way as fast as I could. I had 4 strategic exams to pass, so I scheduled 1 for March, 2 for June, 1 for September. We met 2 times a week, non-stop (because I needed to cover 2 exams per session), and I had some extra classes right before the exam. I didn't do any homework because I'm exhausted at the end of the day, and weekends are for my family, but Liliya managed to structure classes so that we have enough practice, so in the end it was not a problem.

She is not just a teacher, she has relevant experience, so I could ask some work-related questions. I recommend her with all my heart to those who value their time and want to spend it with a smart person.

I took PM, FM, SBR, and APM with her, and for each exam, the approach was different and tailored to the specific exam. She truly knows some magic in how to present information based on its type.

What I liked the most is her understanding that I have a job and a life, so I can't just "do as much practice as you can" as other tutors suggested. She gave me a shortlist of questions to focus on. Surprisingly, it felt like 10-14 classes were enough for each of PM, FM, and APM, I didn't even open a book for APM. With SBR, it took me 20 meetings, which is still less than I originally expected.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand... it's over! It took me 3 years to pass 5 fundamental level exams through self-study and pre-recorded courses (I tried 4 different learning providers). Then I decided to try a tutor. I took APM with Liliya and was shocked at how painless it was. The day after the exam, I started preparing for SBR, then SBL + AFM. In just under 9 months, I was certified.

The funny thing is, I spent less money on these 4 professional exams with one-on-one classes at times that suited me than I did on pre-recorded courses and retakes.

I just want to give a huge thanks to Liliya for all her help. I got 7 exemptions and managed 2 exams on my own, but it took me 5 attempts to pass those two exams. I spent countless weekends and evenings trying to push myself to study.

When I got to the strategic part, I decided to try a private tutor out of curiosity, and it was the best decision I made. With Liliya, I prepared for my AFM exam so much faster than I did for my FM exam. I took 10 classes, each 1.5 hours long, and spent about 2-3 hours between classes going over our notes (which were extra efficient for revision) and doing homework. Liliya also gave me a shortlist of past paper questions covering the most frequently tested topics, which took me around 25 hours to practice.

I did a mock exam and then had one more 1.5-hour session to go over it. In total, I spent about 65 hours preparing and felt confident going into the exam. That’s a win for me, especially since all the free YouTube videos on ACCA say, "do as much practice as you can." That might be true for 20-year-olds, but not for people like me who value their time.

The £2,500 I spent to get ready for my AFM exam was worth every penny, saving me loads of time on dull practice. I highly recommend getting a private tutor and I highly recommend Liliya as your tutor.

I've had a go at the AFM four times before meeting Liliya, and each time I felt overwhelmed, not knowing how to tackle the numbers. I'd previously bought online training from two different providers, but it was pretty useless – they’d just skim over topics and tell you to go practice.

What I really appreciated about Liliya was her structured approach. She had all the theory neatly summarised into clear workflows and pointed out exactly what to focus on in scenarios. Her explanations were spot on, and more importantly, she gave me a super concise list of practice questions, broken down by type. So, when it came to the exam, it was like, “Oh, I did a question just like this on Monday, another similar one on Wednesday, and that business valuation on Friday.”

Previously, I'd panic and only manage to attempt half the questions, jumping back and forth. But this time, I had enough time – well, an extra five minutes would’ve been nice, but I did get through to the end of the exam!

I don't want to jinx it as I'm still waiting for the results, but for the first time, I feel confident about an exam. I might sound a bit over the top with all this text, but I'm so incredibly happy not to feel stupid in this exam.

I’ve tried to pass APM 3 times with 48, 49 and 49 marks. I studied by myself. No luck apparently. Only after Liliya’s course (1 month of active answering mini questions and 3 exam style attempts at special platform with Liliya’s review and comments) did I pass with 63 marks. Thank you.
