About Amida
I am a high-grade achieving tutor, and I offer supportive and effective conversational and professional English practice, editing, and support with spoken or written English for work, study, or daily life. I love to support students to immerse themselves in English to accelerate their learning, while helping them feel confident in their practice. I have worked in Brazil, Indonesia, and Vietnam with English learners of different levels. I have experience in tutoring English with beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. I also have experience in learning a new language. I know what it is like, and what will help you to improve!

Our first conversation is FREE - it will be about what you need from me as your tutor. Then we will create lesson plans to help you with what you need.
I like to mix explanations and study with practical, real-world activities, and fun! My students enjoy experiencing life and culture in Brisbane along with their English practice, and gain confidence in their skills both on paper and in real-life situations, with my support.
For academic English, I have degrees in Anthropology and Social Science, and can help you to learn how to write a clear, well-structured essay as well as to learn and use appropriate language for academic work in the social sciences or humanities.
We will meet for our lessons online or at a central location around inner Brisbane that is comfortable for you - I am flexible around the Brisbane CBD or inner suburbs.
