As someone deeply passionate about education and global affairs, I bring experience, professionalism, and dedication to helping you excel in international relations. From high school classrooms to Capitol Hill, my journey as a tutor and advocate has been shaped by a commitment to empowering students to achieve their goals. My tutoring journey began in high school, where I supported student athletes on academic probation. This experience taught me how to adapt to individual learning styles and motivated me to create personalized strategies that led to measurable success. I’ve since refined these skills through years of academic and professional growth. As an Arabic minor, I’ve also experienced firsthand the transformative power of effective tutoring. My own Arabic tutors helped me build the confidence and skills I needed to succeed, inspiring me to become a tutor who not only explains concepts but also empowers students to thrive academically. In 2024, I worked as a Teacher Assistant at the May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders, where I honed my ability to support students with diverse learning needs. Whether working with students one-on-one or in group settings, I developed patience, adaptability, and a keen understanding of how to make complex ideas accessible to everyone. As a student pursuing an accelerated Master’s in International Relations, I’ve complemented my rigorous academic training with real-world experience. Hi! My name is Sophonie, and I’m thrilled to share my passion for international relations with students like you. As someone with years of experience navigating the intricacies of global politics, diplomacy, and humanitarian issues, I’m here to help you excel in your studies and deepen your understanding of the world.

A Little About Me:

I’m pursuing an accelerated Master’s in International Relations at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where I’m also completing my bachelor’s in International Relations and Philosophy & Public Policy with minors in Arabic and Philosophy & Law. My educational journey includes immersive experiences abroad, from studying at the University of Oxford and the University of Amsterdam to hands-on humanitarian work in Jordan.
