About Nico
I am a passionate and experienced flute tutor with 9 years of teaching background, working with students from school to college level. Music has always been a source of inspiration in my life, and I enjoy sharing this passion with my students. Over the years, I have helped many learners progress from beginners to confident performers, which has been one of my greatest achievements.
I have also guided students to perform in events and competitions, helping them overcome stage fear and build confidence. My teaching style is simple, supportive, and adaptable, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm understanding.
I also encourage creativity and self-expression, as I believe music should be enjoyable and meaningful. I take the time to understand each student’s learning style and goals, and I tailor my lessons accordingly. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn, practise, and grow.

I follow a student-friendly teaching methodology based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn flute effectively. My goal is to make learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful. I begin by understanding the student’s strengths and areas for improvement so I can guide them properly.
I motivate students by setting clear goals and celebrating their progress, which helps build confidence. Communication helps me explain important techniques like breathing, fingering, posture, and tone production in a simple and understandable way. With integrity, I focus on building strong fundamentals and guiding students honestly. I correct mistakes patiently and ensure steady improvement.
Creativity allows me to make lessons interesting by including songs, exercises, and interactive learning methods. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training to support complete musical development.
