About Amanda
I am an experienced piano tutor with 16 years of teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy combines patience, creativity, and personalized guidance, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while developing technical proficiency, musical understanding, and expressive abilities.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them gain confidence and recognition for their achievements. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, tailored to the student’s level and goals.
I aim to make piano learning a fulfilling, engaging, and inspiring journey that nurtures both skill and a lifelong passion for music.

I believe in a teaching style that emphasizes compassion, clarity, and encouragement. Every student is different, and I adapt lessons to fit their pace and preferences. In piano, I focus on both skill development and creative expression, using exercises that are challenging yet enjoyable. I maintain open communication, explaining techniques clearly and listening to students’ goals and concerns.
Supportiveness is a key element—I help students overcome difficulties patiently and celebrate their growth to keep motivation high. I also teach other music-related subjects such as theory and composition, applying the same patient and encouraging approach.
My mission is to create a positive and inspiring environment where students can thrive, build skills, and develop a love for learning.
