About Amanda
I have taught students before as a vocal coach for an a cappella group. I am a double major in Vocal Performance and Psychology. A unique combination, I’ve been told. Despite the roadblocks I’ve had, I’ve managed to keep a high GPA. Discipline is one of the most important things I’ve learned, but it’s not easy. Achieving your goals is a journey, just know you don’t have to go it alone.

I am a current college student finishing up this semester remotely. I have received feedback from multiple professors citing my literary talent in both English papers and psychology papers. Because I take psychology courses, I am very good at analyzing and breaking down readings big or small. I am also an avid reader, so I may have books that can be assigned as readings depending on the student’s needs. In addition to being able to teach the skills I have learned, I am also understanding of different people’s unique situations. I can tailor lesson plans and schedules based on each student. I personally have had to complete a semester of school while my mother was in and out of the ICU, so I can also help to teach them how to still achieve their goals when they seem impossible.
