I see it as essential that all the children feel involved and interested in the subject, but that the subject has practicality and is related to real life so the children understand its usefulness. As a tutor you need to show a strong understanding and interest of your subject or otherwise those you teach wont care for your lessons. For this reason I try and make my lessons very proactive making sure to use what I am teaching in a real life scenario.
