About David
TEACHING:
My career path from high school through college always seemed to be on track towards Financial Services. With degrees in Finance and Accounting, and Wall Street nearby with an abundance of opportunity, it was the right path for me at the time. But teaching was always in the back of my mind. Well, who would of thought that 25 years later I would be an Adjunct Professor. I started teaching at Bramson ORT College in 2009, and I am now also a Visiting Professor at DeVry College. I bring with me 25 years of practical accounting experience, not only from large corporations, but also small financial services companies. I am experienced in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling discrepancies, auditing, working with Regulatory agencies such as the SEC, and the NYSE, and preparing and analyzing income tax returns.
I have taught the following Accounting Courses at Bramson ORT and DeVry Colleges:
1) Principles of Accounting I and II
2) Intermediate Accounting I, II and III
3) Cost Accounting
4) Auditing
5) Federal Taxation of Corporations and partnerships
6) Federal Taxation of Individuals
7) Essentials of Accounting
8) Managerial Accounting
9) Fed Taxes & Management Decisions
10) Accounting Ethics and Related Regulatory Issues

Professor David Marnell is an excellent professor. He tries to help out the students as much as he can. Teachings are very clear and he responds to emails very quickly. I highly recommend.
The knowledge he has taught and shared with his students was very informative. In addition to that the knowledge shared is truthful. My school endeavors wouldn't have been clear without his help.
David is a great and empathetic teacher who goes out of his way to help students. A true master of his profession.
