About Snehashon
I'm Snehashon: a 16-year-old singer-songwriter-producer-rapper with a very keen interest in music! I hail from Bangladesh but can speak Hindi and Urdu to a decent standard as well as speaking fluently in my mother tongue of Bengali. I really enjoy making music on my laptop in my spare time, and I currently run my own record label to which I have two signed producers as well as one signed artist. I am proficient in the music GCSE, and I will not be a very strict or intimidating teacher due to the fact that I won't be much older than you! I've sung and delivered speeches on TV before and am able to help with everything you may need me to - whether you need some advice or you're finding the course hard, just let me know!
I enjoy many types of music; however, I particularly enjoy RnB, UK Rap and South Asian music in general. Some of my favourite artists are D-Block Europe, Nish, Mumzy Stranger, Ezu, Badshah, Stoic Bliss and Zack Knight. I can rap well, sing well and I have written many songs in different languages too!

I am a Year-12 student studying at one of the top institutions of the country in terms of A-Level results, and I have had a keen passion for music ever since I was a toddler. I am able to play various instruments such as the cajon, harmonium, piano, and synthesizer keyboard. With a keen interest in pop, urban and South Asian music, I am able to teach students how to effectively write music & songs for their music GCSEs as well as how to sing better (performed in choirs around 6-7 years ago). I have sung on Bengali national television and have released music on YouTube, along with patriotic Bangladeshi music and similar anthems (with variation going even to urban music) as well as running a record label. I am able to adapt to the student's needs, teaching between 30 minutes to 1 hour 30. My knowledge in the Music GCSE is very extensive and having just completed the course and examination the knowledge is still fresh in my head! I am not a strict nor intimidating tutor and I really love to interact with students and have them enjoy what they are doing! I specialise in OCR (Oxford, Cambridge & RSA) Music; however, I can adapt to any exam board. Utilising what the student tells me about what unit they are currently covering, I can teach the unit to the best of my ability so they can have an upper hand as well as share my extensive knowledge in the subject.
In terms of music software that I am familiar with, I mainly work from my home studio on FL Studio 20 however I have worked with Logic Pro X for my GCSE. I have sung several songs in concerts for my school, gaining traction.
I am experienced in Hindi & Bengali music, as well as English music of the urban kind (D-Block Europe, Nish, Zack Knight etc). I love music which is why I want to teach it, and I want more people to be able to follow their dreams or even just do well in the course!
