About Cassia

I am an actor, who is also passionate about French and dance. I am a very curious person and love to learn and be in a learning environment. I find that being with other curious people is infectious. For this reason, I would love to share my knowledge and French language experience with students. I understand the frustrations of learning languages, but also the immense joy and feeling of accomplishment when you progress! I have travelled widely, and have also lived in Paris for 3 years while studying acting. It was an incredible experience and I learnt so much from it.

About the lesson

The lessons are 1 hour and the initial lesson will be for us to get to know one another and for me to understand your experience and goals.

When I learnt French I felt like there weren’t many environments where I could practice speaking without judgement. I focus on creating an atmosphere where you can practice speaking without fearing making mistakes. I will also focus on vocabulary, verb conjugation and French culture.

My lessons are for beginners both children and adults who are curious or passionate about learning French.

I have just started working as a tutor. However I have been a student myself, at university and acting school, so I know what it's like from the perspective of a student. I’ve also worked as a babysitter for over 10 years, and from that have learned to be patient, encouraging and playful.
