About Mira

I have 5 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance. My academic training strengthened my technical understanding of string technique, ensemble collaboration, and musical interpretation. Teaching has allowed me to refine my ability to communicate clearly and adjust my pace based on each student’s learning style.

I have supported beginners learning foundational skills as well as intermediate students preparing for structured examinations. I strongly believe that discipline and patience create long-term musical success. My teaching approach is organised and supportive, ensuring students feel motivated while working steadily towards improvement.

Music education is meaningful to me because it develops both artistic ability and personal confidence. Seeing students improve their tone and stage presence through consistent practice is very rewarding. I remain dedicated to guiding each learner with clarity, structure, and encouragement.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are carefully structured to develop technical accuracy while encouraging expressive musical growth. I begin by ensuring correct posture, shoulder balance, and relaxed bow grip so students can play comfortably without tension. Early sessions focus on tone production through controlled bow movement and steady open string exercises. Finger placement drills are practised slowly to strengthen intonation and hand coordination. I clearly explain the purpose of each exercise so students understand how small adjustments improve overall sound quality.

As learners progress, we introduce scale systems, shifting between positions, and vibrato control. I break down advanced techniques into smaller steps so students can practise confidently without feeling overwhelmed. Repertoire is selected carefully to match the student’s ability while offering a healthy challenge. We work on articulation, phrasing, and dynamic contrast to make performances more expressive and balanced. Regular review sessions ensure that technique remains stable and consistent over time.

Performance preparation is included in structured stages. Students practise playing complete pieces with attention to stage posture and concentration. We discuss focus techniques to reduce nervousness and build confidence during recitals. Over time, learners develop stronger bow control, smoother transitions between notes, and greater musical maturity. My goal is to guide each student towards polished and confident violin performance.
