About Preston

I’m a 4th-year Dalhousie BComm Finance major with a minimum A grade in every finance course I’ve taken. I have experience working in the finance industry and have also studied finance abroad, giving me a broad perspective and practical understanding of the subject. Finance hasn’t always come easy for me, so I know the challenges and want to help other students by sharing the resources, strategies, and practical approaches that worked for me.

About the lesson

I’m a Dalhousie student who’s taken Finance 1 and 2 and knows exactly what to expect in these classes. I’ve kept all my notes, resources, and past practice problems, so I can help you focus on what actually matters for assignments and exams. We’ll cover the key topics—like time value of money, bond and stock valuation, CAPM, WACC, capital budgeting, and more—while working through real examples from previous course materials. My lessons are straightforward: we go over concepts, apply them to practice problems, and make sure you can tackle exam-style questions with confidence. No overcomplication—just practical, affordable help from someone who’s been in your shoes and knows how to get good results.
