About Yasmine

I have three years' experience translating different manuscripts over a three-year period including novels & books (hard print and e-books), websites (blogs and e-commerce platforms), CVs and essays.

I have, moreover, worked as a content writer for several French and English-speaking companies. Tasks included article writing and brand naming.

I have also worked as worked as a freelance French tutor. Has been offering one-to-one and group tutoring sessions to teach French to A-level and GCSE students using Oxford learning approach as well as accent reduction classes and general conversational sessions.

About the lesson

If you’re a student studying towards their A-levels or GCSEs, or even an undergraduate, and are having trouble figuring out the right method to revise, you'll love my methods!

Many students spend hours trying to memorize by heart pages of notes, putting all their tears and sweat into trying to achieve the best score they possibly can and are met with disappointment when the grades they get doesn’t represent the effort they put into their exams.
There’s a more efficient way to tackle your revisions that not only will allow you to be more productive but also require you less time, given you focus enough.

It is Oxford’s way of teaching.

Initially applied by Mathematics students, this method can be applied to any subject, be it scientific or not.
What does it consist of?

No notes, no manuals. Just past papers, from day 1. Simple as that.
Forget taking notes! Your main goal right now is acing the exam, and all exam papers given over the years follow a similar pattern, the more you familiarize yourself with them, the higher your chances of achieving the score you are hoping for.

During theses lessons, you will learn how to ace your French exam using this method. You will go over increasingly difficult past papers with a French native speaker.

I also offer regular French language classes for professionals or language lovers.

To practice your French, I offer, in addition, short 20-minutes conversational sessions for 7£/session.
