About Ida
I am an AGA(SA) and experienced senior finance professional with a career spanning accounting, financial management, CFO-level roles, audit, reporting, cash flow, systems and business finance across South Africa and international organisations.
Over the years, one of the parts of finance I have enjoyed most is helping people understand difficult concepts, mentoring team members and building confidence in their ability to work with numbers.
I believe practical experience adds enormous value to learning. My aim is to bridge the gap between textbook accounting and what actually happens in the workplace, using real-world examples and clear explanations.
I am passionate about helping students, bookkeepers, accountants, finance professionals and business owners become more confident, capable and independent in finance.

I believe accounting and finance become much easier when you understand the why behind the numbers, rather than simply memorising rules and formulae. My lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to your individual needs.
You are welcome to bring a specific problem, assignment concept, workplace challenge or topic you are struggling with, and we will work through it together step by step.
I can assist with journals, reconciliations, management accounts, cash flow, debtors and creditors, balance-sheet accounts, financial management, Excel for finance, practical business finance and finance interview preparation.
My aim is not simply to help you find the correct answer — it is to help you understand it, apply it and use it with confidence in the real world.
Lessons are conducted online and are suitable for accounting students, bookkeepers, junior accountants, finance professionals and business owners.
