About Balungile
My name is Balungile Ngubane. I am a former Cedara student. I have a qualification in Agriculture, including Agricultural Extension and I have been trained in Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood by the Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs and Rural Development. I have considerable experience in Community facilitation and providing training Support to beneficiaries of the Empowerment for Food Security Programme, including the One Home, One Garden Campaign. I have Community outreach experience through being a mentor for the Kwa-Zulu Natal Department of Agriculture in the Land Redistribution for Agricultural Development Programme, where I facilitated development and outreach to emerging farmers. I have worked with vulnerable children, people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, widowed women and unemployed youth. I have been providing implementation support to projects and training programmes across development areas especially in Plant and Poultry production. I have work for one of the big poultry producers Rainbow Farm Chicken. I have a clean code EB driving licence and will be willing to take a driving competency test. I am also an isiZulu mother tongue speaker; I am also fluent in English.
