About David
I am an Agricultural Science graduate with a genuine passion for education and helping students build confidence in their learning. I believe that good teaching goes beyond delivering content — it is about understanding how each student thinks, adapting explanations to suit them, and creating an environment where questions are encouraged and progress feels achievable. Through my experience in substitute teaching and one-to-one tutoring, I have developed a calm, structured, and professional teaching style that supports students of all abilities. I take pride in being well-prepared, reliable, and approachable, and I am committed to providing high-quality lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s goals. My aim is not only to improve academic results, but to help students feel capable, confident, and motivated in their studies.

I offer engaging, results-focused Agricultural Science tutoring for students of all ages and abilities, from Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert to adult learners. I take a strategic, student-centred approach, breaking down complex topics into clear, practical concepts while building strong exam technique and real understanding. Lessons are typically 60 minutes (with flexibility for shorter or longer sessions) and are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I hold a degree in Agricultural Science and have experience in substitute teaching, giving me strong classroom presence, clear communication skills, and confidence working with diverse learners. My teaching style combines solid technical knowledge, clear explanations, and proven learning strategies to help students build confidence, improve grades, and genuinely understand the subject — not just memorise it.
