About Lilly
I not only worked in immigration for over a year, navigating different French accents and cases, but I also have written a thesis in French dedicated to research about displacement and my work at the firm. I have also taken professional language courses in Paris and Lyon. During this time I took DELF and DALF practice exams, wrote essays daily, and took daily quizzes. I know how to structure language learning because of this and I can also help break things down easier because of my ability to work with different levels of English as well as French. I have a brother with learning disabilities who has also helped me work with different intersections of development and with children who might struggle in a traditional classroom.

I am patient and have fresh experience in French with people from all over the world. I have worked with immigrants from Venezuela and Cameroon all the way to older Americans who have never tried learning a new language. I have also lived in France in two different cities, so I know slang and about local culture. My age helps with this as well because I am still young, and it also helps me work with younger students who want to engage in learning or might find it difficult to focus. I also have direct language experience, not just in multiple classrooms in France, but also from local friends and culture that allow me to help teach the closest thing to a true immersive experience of the language.
