About Lea
Hello I am so excited to become your online teacher. It is a wonderful experience when a young person "gets it" and they achieve new things. I enjoy teaching, especially when I can help my students feel proud of themselves. I have been a teacher for almost 30 years but I still know how to make lessons enjoyable. I can help you to feel more confident in your reading & literacy and/or math. I look forward to meeting you.

45 minute-1 hour depending on child's age. Structured lessons tailored to needs. Includes literacy (phonics, phonemes, blends, digraphs, spelling rules, common and tricky words), reading fluency and comprehension. Can also include/focus on writing - sentence structure, paragraphs, report writing if requested. Engaging lessons using appropriate resources and a variety of learning activities. Online or possible in person teaching if local.
